The 2005 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced November 3.

2005 Liberty League Player of the Year
Seraphine Hamilton   William Smith
Senior Back (Trenton, New Jersey)
Hamilton anchors a William Smith defense that leads the nation in shutout percentage (.933) and goals against average (0.07), having surrendered a single goal in the regular season. The Herons have allowed opponents fewer than four shots on goal per game. Hamilton was a Liberty League first team selection in 2003 and 2004 and was also an NSCAA All-America third-team selection last season.

2005 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Rachel Sushner   Skidmore
Forward (Potomac, Maryland)
A three-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Sushner leads all first-year players in scoring with nine goals and three assists for 21 points. Among her nine goals were four game-winners for Skidmore. She leads the Liberty League with a .310 scoring percentage, connecting for her nine goals on 29 shots attempts, with 21 shots on goal.

2005 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
Aliceann Wilber   William Smith
Wilber led the Herons through the regular season unbeaten with a 14-0-1 record, including a 6-0-1 mark in the Liberty League. William Smith has allowed just one goal during the regular season and leads the nation in shutouts and goals against average. This season marked Wilber's 22nd consecutive winning season at William Smith. Wilber is assisted by Leah Cornwell and Keith Perrigo.
