2009 Men's Tennis Awards
The 2009 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced May 12.

2009 Liberty League Player of the Year
Carl-Eric Girardin   Skidmore
Sophomore (Lake Bluff, Illinois)
Girardin was undefeated against Liberty League opponents at #1 singles and finished the season as the Liberty League Tournament Most Outstaning Performer. He was a three-time selection as Liberty League Player of the Week.

2009 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Luke Granger   Skidmore
(Allendale, New Jersey)
Granger was 16-4 at #5 singles this year and 15-6 in doubles play. He won the "D" flight tournament at the Wallach Invitational in the fall and scored a singles win against nationally-ranked Washington and Lee.

2009 Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year
Nate Simms   Skidmore
Simms led Skidmore to its second straight Liberty League championship and second straight NCAA Tournament. Skidmore was 15-2 entering the NCAA tournament and ranked 20th nationally. He is assisted by Tyson McKechnie.

2009 Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year
Ki Kroll   Vassar
Kroll led the Brewers back into the Liberty League Championship match for a fourth straight year. The Brewers posted a 10-8 overall record in the regular season and were selected to participate in the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive season.
