The 2009 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced November 5.

2009 Liberty League Player of the Year
Brian Bianchetti   Vassar
Senior Midfield (Tustin, California)
A three-time Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week, Bianchetti led Vassar and finished second in the league with 11 goals. He scored at least one goal in eight games and led Vassar in total shots (54) and shots on goal (21). He posted five goals diring a four-game goal-scoring streak that included contests from September 30 through October 17.

2009 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Sebastiaan Jansen   Union
Forward (Cape Town, South Africa)
Jansen ranks fourth in the conference for points with 18 and tied for seventh for goals with six. He is Union's leading scorer, helping the Dutchmen to a conference-best 42 goals. He has produced at least one point in eight games and has registered a career-high four points twice.

2009 Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year
Adam Clinton   Rensselaer
Clinton guided the seventh-ranked Engineers to a 13-1-2 regular season record and a 5-1-1 Liberty League mark, capturing the regular season title. The team is fourth nationally as of November 2 in save percentage (.908) and goals against average (0.37). With a conference-best ten shutouts, the Engineers defense did not allow a goal in its first seven games. Clinton is assisted by Nick Bochette.

2009 Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year
Andy Jennings   Vassar
With exactly half his roster composed of first-years, Jennings coached Vassar to a 9-6-1 season, the most wins for the program since 2003. Vassar's 3-3-1 league record and fifth place finish was also the best finish since 2003. He is assisted by Nate Gibboney and Chuck Wilder.
